CONTEMPORARY RABINDRA SANGEET CONCERT This concert at Kaala Dibba is a personal interpretation Rabindra Sangeet by the master artist, Ruma Chakravarty. In the presentation she brings together her Hindustani Classical training and Folk and Western Music influences to create a contemporary world music sound while keeping the mystical essence of Rabindra Sangeet intact. ABOUT RUMA CHAKRAVARTY Ruma Chakravarty is a trained Hindustani classical vocal musician from Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapith, Lucknow. She has also trained under the tutelage of Sri Sudip Chakravarty in Shillong. She is a noted artist and Music Therapist (through Hindustani classical music). Further more, Ruma Chakravarty is a certified executive coach and Richard Bandler Certified Licensed NLP Practitioner. By profession, she is an internationally certified corporate trainer of survey methodologies & data analytics and also offers holistic development programs for executives.
